Originally part of the britpop scene back in the mid nineties, Julie Grant was a rising star, performing on national television and BBC radio. Her songs are melodic, lyric-led, always raw and unflinchingly honest. In the late nineties she received a drama award at RADA and crossed over into theatre and television. She is currently recording an album with a new band, Rex Carmen, and making her debut as an author with her memoir, The Gatecrasher.
